Taco dinner is excellent. The only place i know where food is well seasoned. You don't need to add anything else to it.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Cortez Mexican Restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! The authenticity of the food is truly remarkable. Each dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. My little nephews were particularly enamored with the quesadillas; they practically licked their plates clean! It was heartwarming to see them enjoy the food so much. The service was equally wonderful. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making the experience feel personal and special. And let's not forget the drinks! The margaritas were some of the best I've ever had! The combination of incredible food, excellent service, and a lively atmosphere makes it a must-visit. First time here, the food and service was the best on a take out order of a toco dinner in the area, Large portions Great taste, made just how I asked, The restaurant was clean and decorated in it fashion, Plenty of tables for a small family gathering, I'll definitely be back,

We could not love El Cortez more! It is our favorite place - the food is absolutely delicious, and one of my favorite things is being greeted by the warm, friendly faces of the staff each time we visit. They treat us like family, and have a really comfortable, fun, welcoming atmosphere. The margaritas are also really good! Can’t go wrong there. Personal faves are the beef tacos, the pork tacos, the chicken enchiladas and the beef flautas. It’s fun for a date, or with the whole family - which is often the case for us- we bring our 3 kids a lot and they love it. The staff greets them like old friends and gives them extra cherries in their kiddie cocktails :)
The restaurant was pretty full when I arrived, but there was a seat yourself sign and tables were turning over quickly. The staff is on top of it, keeping up with the clean up and service was still very attentive! Food was delicious and arrived quickly. Margarita was very strong, although that might be a plus for some :) Bathrooms are very clean. Plenty of parking. Always a pleasant experience!
Highly recommend the margarita special! Overall, the food was very satisfying, although I wish the queso serving was bigger! They have outside and inside seating and were accommodating of our party of 6.
This place had some pretty delicious food, on a late night tip, they close at 10 we didn't get there until about 915, but we still were able to have a couple drinks and order some food, which was cooked quick but didn't lose any flavor. The Veggie fajitas were very filling, the nachos weren't bad either, bar tender was nice
